AMEN in especially in light of the fact that SB and I crawled some distance to watch this event take place. Man it always a game of angles. Oh PP I shot a 288 15 yesterday first time on the range for a full set of flights. Also I have a range for us to visit. Shooting tables, gun rests, 100 and 200 yard rifle, 15' pop up pistol, and 25 yard pistol. As well as a shooting house. So, maybe the angles will be better for all of us this season.
Is that range the one at Pickstown? That's right across the river from where I'd like to go Muzzleloader hunt right after x-mas.
And although SB and OGH didn't get a chance to shoot at that herd because of my twitchy trigger finger, they must admit that it was one hell of a stalk. We had those deer dead upwind of us. It seemed like we watched them for close to an hour inching up on that frozen hill in the wind just waiting. I finally had to shoot the doe cause she was gonna step on us. The buck was a secondary adrenaline reaction.
Yup! That was the best stalk of the year right in there with PP's crawl of last year and his two tap.
The range that I am talking about is called the Yankton Sharp Shooters range it is about 18 miles from here and it is a members only range. You need to be an NRA member only because at is the only place that they can get insurance if we have time I will show it to you but most likely not this trip.
