Much to my surprise it was misty/foggy most of the time there. Wasn't expecting that in the desert. It was definately brush country. The only way to get around was through "cendaro's" which are basically roads that are cut through the brush with a tractor in order to get around.
I shot a big sow Friday night (300lb+) You can see her in the pictures. You can also see a large boar on the back of a 4-wheeler that another guy shot.
Sunday night I shot a doe. (no good pics of her).
I wanted to get more pictures of camp but never got around to it since it was so wet all the time. Great hunt overall. we started to see some bucks moving around the very last morning so we were probably just a little early with respect to the rut.
