I am in the process of taking hunter's safety education online. In arkansas its required for any hunter born after 1968. they accept any safety card from your home satate though. The irony is that I have to take a test, but they will let Phil hunt here since he passed when he was in junior high. *sigh* if only they knew. (thus far no questions about school busses).
Anyway I thought you would like this page from it, see inside a deer:

Same here in tx. Although they didn't ask me when I bought my license...
Hunter safety tip #1: Never ever shoot at deer in a ditch when in visual range of school buses.
You guys need to leave well enough alone! the deer in question was shot 5 or 6 times by deerkiller on private property, The shot in question was in truth in a road ditch, but it was only to put the poor animal out of its misery. I was the only witness to the event, I remember specifically that poor little Bambi crawled on his one good leg, almost up to deerkiller, and said "Please, Please, if this is close enough, I promise not to move, if you will shoot me again".
Maybe someone needs to borrow my automatic, so he can get more shots off in a hurry when necessary.
To November!!!!
